Another good year for Australian artist, 2001’s Hottest 100 (Volume 9) had the following artists included in the top 10: Alec Lloyd (amazing), Something for Kate (Monsters), System of a Down (Chop Suey), Basement Jaxx (Where’s your Head at), John Butler Trio (Betterman), Alien Ant Farm (Smooth Criminal), Weezer (island in the Sun), Avalanches (Since I left You), Gorillaz (Clint Eastwood) and Cake (Short skirt long jacket).
